Pre-Fall 2012: Erin Fetherston.

I chose to feature only my favorite pieces of the collection, however, I'll post a link below to her full Pre-Fall 2012 collection for you all to see as well.
The garments are beautifully feminine and soft with the use of chiffon and lace, the hues ranging from light cream to black to color blocking with eye popping aqua. Each design has a simplistic elegance about it that takes you back to a time where the clothing wasn't as bold and the 21st century hadn't sexualized most designs. These instead are reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn and the designs have almost an early Chanel feel to them with the modernization in the coloring of the garments. Personally, it reminds me of an English tea party or a Sofia Coppola film. Light, feminine & beautiful are the only words I have to describe Erin Fetherston's Pre-Fall 2012 collection. I can't wait to see what she does next!

But for now i say,
Au revoir.

Jesus loves me.

I found this whilst browsing through the many wonders of Tumblr and it was just so amazing that I had to make a post about it. I clicked on the image and it even took me to the page where you can purchase it! However, I would not pay $69.95 for it, but it's still so, so cool. Then again I've always preferred spending under $20 for items of clothing. That's just me though!

Quote of the day: Merry fucking Christmas.

Dopest of dope.

First Of The Year (Equinox) - Skrillex.

Even if you aren't that much of a fan of dubstep, watch this video - it's amazing!

Currently obsessed with: Jeffrey Campbell.

"& these are my lovely knock off JC Litas, which I'm deathly in love
with! Comfiest heels I own to date for sure and only $10 :D"

I have never liked every shoe a designer has come out with, until now. Jeffrey Campbell has amazed me with the stunning ranges of shoes they've designed and their popularity shows that I'm not alone in this. From glitter, to studs, to leather, to suede, to outrageous patterns & colors - Jeffrey Campbell has managed to make me fall in love and fawn over every single one of them. My personal favorite being his famous "Litas" which I recently bought a knock off pair of, for a little amount of ten dollars! Now I'm craving my own pair of leopard print wedges to go along with my faux Lita's, they're lonely! :(

Polyvore ponderings - "death is desire"

death is desire.

Cassie was obsessed with death. She had an infatuation with all things dark and macabre, especially human skulls. Everyone thought she was depressed, and maybe she was. But she didn't like to publicize any kind of emotion to anyone.   Every morning she poured two shots of Jagermeister into her orange juice, she said it calmed her anxiety.

Cassie wore velvet because it reminded her of Elvira and Morticia Addams, queens of darkness. She added floral in small doses as a homage to 1990's grunge and Courtney Love. Her cross necklace was something she never took off, her Mother had scared her into Christianity from the mere age of nine. The heart shaped earrings were a present from her recently deceased grandmother whom had worn them in her working girl days, Cassie wore them and often thought of all the men her grandmother had served in her prime. Her stockings were simply a pair she had stolen from a lingerie store in the inner city.

The beginning is the end is the beginning.

I started this blog to post about fashion, my inspirations, my own creations and anything else that takes my fancy.

Over time I am going to develop this blog into my homepage for my own clothing label. Nothing fancy, just clothes and other items I make and then plan to sell. I'm hoping to turn it into a kind of business, collaborating with others along the way. But for now, it's still in very early stages of happening. But I will still be posting along the way, updating on what's going on and also posting about other things that I mentioned above.

I hope you all enjoy the journey.
